ABC Fun Letter “R”

Supplies:
Raisins
White Paper
Markers
Glue

Instructions:
On a piece of paper draw the letter “R”. Glue the raisins around the outlining of the letter “R”. Make sure you have enough raisins to eat and glue to the paper. Use your imagination to draw things that start with the letter “R” like: Race cars, Rainbows, Rabbits all starting with the letter “R”.


Raisin-Apple Muffins

Ingredients:
1 Cup of Cheerios or Apple Cinnamon Cheerios cereal, crushed (about ½ cup)
1 ¼ Cup of Gold Medal all-purpose flour
1/3 Cup of packed brown sugar
1tsp. of ground cinnamon
1tsp. of baking powder
3/4tsp. of baking soda
2/3Cup of raisins
1/2Cup of applesauce
1/3Cup of Milk
3 tab. Of Vegetable oil
1 egg

Directions:
Heat oven to 400 and grease bottoms only of 12 medium muffin cups, 21/2x11/4 inches. Mix cereal, flour, brown sugar, cinnamon, baking powder and baking soda in a large bowl. Stir in remaining ingredients just till dry ingredients are moistened. Divide the batter evenly among the muffin cups, bake until golden brown 18-22 minutes. Makes 12 muffins.
