New Year Noise Makers
Supplies:
Toilet paper rolls
Beans/Beads
Crepe paper/construction paper/Rubber Band
Tape
Glue
Directions:
Cut a circle from the construction paper and tape on end of toilet paper roll. This will close off the end of the toilet paper roll. Add beans/Beads into the toilet paper roll; this will make the rattle or noise sound. Cut another circle from construction paper and tape open end closed. Wrap the rest of the toilet paper roll in crepe paper/construction paper and continue to decorate. You can add streamers, be creative in your decorations!

Old Fashion Waffles:
Ingredients:
1 ¾ Cups of Flour
1tab. Of Baking Powder
½ tsp. salt
2 Eggs
1 ¾ Cups of Milk
1tab. Of Vanilla
½ Cup of Vegetable oil
Directions:
In a large bowl stir together flour, baking powder, and salt. In a small bowl beat eggs, vanilla, oil and add milk. Combine wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and mix well. Batter should be blended yet lumpy. Pour batter onto a preheated waffle iron and follow iron directions. Add butter, syrup or fruit to complete breakfast.
Great tip double recipe and make all the waffles. Let cool then place them in a Ziploc. Remove waffles and place in toaster for a fast breakfast before school. Cheaper than those ones you buy at the grocery store and better for you.
