Tailgate Party!


Two bits, four bits, six bits, a dollar! All for a tailgate party stand up and holler” Go Cardinals!

Oven Fried Chicken

1 -3 pounds of broiler fryer chicken
3tab. Butter
1 ½ tsp. dried basil
½ tsp. salt
2 ½ cups of plain potato chips (place chips in zip lock and crush)
Pepper
oil

Directions:
Rinse chicken pieces with water; pat dry and sit a side. In a small bowl combine melted butter, dried basil, salt and pepper to taste. Dip chicken pieces in mixture then roll chicken in potato chips. Add oil to frying skillet and let warm. Place chicken in the frying skillet and fry for 10min each side or until chicken runs clear when a knife is inserted.
Place chicken on a paper towel to drain excess oil. Serve hot!

Coleslaw
3 cups shredded cabbage
1 cup shredded carrots
½ cup slice cucumbers
2tab. slice green onion
¼ cup vinegar
2 tab. Brown sugar
1 tab. Salad oil
½ tsp. dry mustard
½ tsp. salt

Direction:
In a large bowl toss together shredded cabbage, carrots, cucumber, and onion. In a screw top jar combine vinegar, brown sugar, salad oil, dry mustard, and salt. Cover and shake well. Pour over combined vegetables. Toss and coat. Cover and refrigerate for three hours 24 hours.
